Terms
By using thestock.space you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
What this is
thestock.space is a free tool for reading public data about companies listed on NSE and BSE. It is run by its founder as a sole proprietorship in India. It is for education and information only. It is not investment advice (see the Disclaimer).
Using the site
- You may use it for your own research, personal or professional, free of charge.
- Don’t overload it. No automated scraping at volume, no attempts to break, probe or get around its limits, and no reselling of its data as your own feed. If you need data in bulk, ask first.
- You can share links and quote short excerpts with a link back. Don’t present our calculations or pages as your own.
- You must be 18 or older, and able to enter a contract, to create an account.
Accounts and your content
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Notes, watchlists, alerts and screens you create are yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you, and, for a screen you mark public, to show it to others.
- Don’t post anything unlawful, abusive, or misleading in public screens or names. We can remove it.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See the Privacy page.
The data
Data comes from third parties and public sources and is provided “as is”: it can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. See Data sources and the Methodology. Company names, symbols, filings and news belong to their owners. Alerts and notifications are best-effort and may be late or missed; do not rely on them for time-critical decisions.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses, including investment losses, that come from using the site or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under Indian law that cannot be waived.
Changes and ending service
We may change the site, these terms, or stop offering a feature or the whole service, and we will update the date above when the terms change. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the owner’s registered place of business, India, have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under Indian law.
