High ratio of investments
a portfolio inside the stock
Financial investments worth more than a fifth of the company’s own market cap.
As of 6 Nov 2026, 428 listed companies pass the High ratio of investments screen. The screen requires: Investments to market cap above 20%. Financial Services is the most common industry among them (117 of 428), followed by Fast Moving Consumer Goods (37), with a median market cap of ₹63 Cr and a median P/E of 13.2×. Sorted by Investments to market cap (highest first), the first three are Future Enterprises, Arshiya and VAS Infrastructure; 2,267 other companies could not be tested because data was missing.
Some companies own large stakes in other listed companies or hold big treasury portfolios, and the market often values them at a discount to those holdings. Holding companies are the classic case.
This screen keeps companies whose financial investments are worth more than 20% of their market cap. Banks and NBFCs are left out because investments are their core business.
